Candidates appearing for the interview shall report to the office between 8.30 am to 12.30pm on the day of interview to get their original documents / credentials verified and to appear before the selection committee along with original documents and 2 sets of documents duly attested by gazette officer, with 2 recent passport size photographs. Candidates are required to submit the application along with necessary documents and a DD for Rs.2000/- (Non refundable) drawn in favour of “DIRECTOR, VIMS, BALLARI” on or before 19.06.2023, 5.00 PM.

· Associate Professor, Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) Interview Date 23rd June 2023
VIMS Bellary CMO Jobs 2023 Age Limit:
1. Professors: Maximum 50 years for GM, 53 years for OBC, & 55 years for SC/ST
2. Associate Professors: Maximum 45 years for GM, 48 years for OBC & 50 years for SC/ST.
3. Assistant Professor/ Tutor/ Senior Resident/ Junior Resident: Maximum 38 years for GM, 40 years for OBC & 43 years for SC/ST.
4. For In-service candidates relaxation of maximum age shall be as specified in Rule 6 of General Recruitment Rules 1997
VIMS Bellary CMO Jobs 2023 ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
a. Should be a Citizen of India.
b. No man who has more than one wife living and no woman who has married a man
already having another wife, will not be considered for appointment.
c. Candidate should be a physically & mentally fit to discharge the duties.
VIMS Bellary CMO Jobs 2023 Education Qualification
· Academic qualification, teaching experience to be eligible for engagement is as per the “Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions, 2022” as amended and applicable as on date of interview to the respective posts ( Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor).
· Academic qualification during the Transition period as per eligibility criteria by NMC – TEQ 2022: For Emergency Medicine – Candidates form the specialties of General Medicine, Anaesthesia, Respiratory Medicine, General Surgery and Orthopaedics can appear for the Interview in addition to their own specialty.
· Academic qualification for the post of Casualty Medical Officer – MBBS degree from any NMC / MCI recognized university and registered in Karnataka Medical Council, Higher Qualification will also be considered.

VIMS Bellary CMO Jobs 2023 Selection Process
I. Criteria for drawing up the merit list for Professor/ Associate Professor / Assistant Professor to short list for the interview.
a. Number of publications in National /Indexed Journal above the stipulated number specified for the post by the NMC -0.5 mark for each paper subject to a maximum of 2 marks.
b. Number of publications in International Journals-1mark for each paper subject to a maximum of 2 marks.
c. WHO Fellowship /University Gold Medal-1 mark.
d. Higher experience than required for the post -0.5 mark for each year to maximum of 2 marks.
e. Presentation of paper/lectures in State/ National /International Conference 0.5 mark for each paper subject to a maximum of 2 marks.
f. Personality/ presentation in the interview-6 marks
II. Criteria for drawing up the merit list for Casualty Medical Officer to short listed for the interview.
a. Postgraduate Degree in clinical specialties – 2 marks
b. Experience in the same job in a Medical college/500 bedded hospital (01 mark per year maximum of 2 marks) – 4 marks.
c. Extracurricular Activities like sports /cultural /literature / Medal obtained in District, state, National, National level -02 marks.
d. NCC or NSS Grade certificate -01 mark.
e. Personality/ presentation in the interview-6 marks
