UP nursing officer Age Limit as on 01.01.2023
· Age Limit is between 18-40 years
· In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs and other such categories of candidates in Uttar Pradesh, the upper age limit will be as high as specified by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
UP Nursing Officer 2023 Eligibility/ Qualification
(I)
a. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council.
Or
B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Institute or University recognized by Indian NursingCouncil/State Nursing Council.
b. Registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.
(II)
a. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council.
b. Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.
c. Two Years’ Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital (registered with competent district medical authority) after acquiring the educational qualification

· Those candidates who are selected will be getting pay level-07 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. 44900-142400).
UP nursing officer 2023 Selection process
· Based on the declaration made by the candidate in their Online Registration form, they will be provisionally eligible to appear for Computer Based Test. However, a preliminary scrutiny will be made based on information provided in the application form before declaration of CBT Score. All Selection will be made in order of merit as per CBT Score. Qualified candidates are subject to multi stage document verification of Certificates in online/offline mode by UPUMS
UP Nursing Officer Apply online Scheme of Examination / PATTERN & SCHEME OF COMPUTER BASED TEST:
a) The duration of the Test shall be 03 hrs. (180 minutes).
b) 200 MCQs of 600 marks with four alternatives for each question (English
& Hindi both languages).
– 170 MCQsrelated to Nursing subjects.
– 30 MCQs related to General English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Mathematics)
c) There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
d) Minimum qualifying marks of the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be :-
– 40% for General, EWS, OBC
– 35% for SC & ST
