To be eligible for THDC Engineer Trainee positions, candidates must possess a full-time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute, with not more than 65% marks. The upper age limit for SC and ST candidates is 35 years, while for OBC candidates, it is 33 years as of 17th May 2023. Selected candidates will undergo training as Engineer Trainees in E-2 Grade and will receive a minimum basic THDC Engineer Trainee Salary of Rs. 50,000.00. Upon successful completion of training, they will be absorbed as Senior Engineers in E-3 Grade, with a pay scale of Rs. 60,000-3%-1,80,000 (IDA).

THDC Engineer Trainee Salary:
· Selected candidates will be placed at minimum basic pay of Rs. 50,000.00 in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 3%-1,60,000 (IDA) during the period of training as Engineer Trainee in E-2 Grade. These candidates will be absorbed after successful completion of training as Senior Engineer in E-3 Grade in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000-3%-1,80,000 (IDA).
THDC Engineer Trainee Vacancy Selection Procedure
· The selection process consists of marks obtained in the corresponding paper of GATE 2022 and the Personal Interview.
