OPSC Forest Ranger Recruitment 2023 important Date:

OPSC Forest Ranger / ACF Application fee:
· The Candidates are exempted for payment of Examination fee as Per G.A & P.G Department letter No.9897/Gen dt.11.04.2022
OPSC Recruitment 2023 Age Limit
· A candidate must have attained the age of 21(twenty one) years and must not be above the age of 38 (thirty eight) years on the 1st day of January 2023 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January 1985 and not later than 1" January 2002.
· The upper age limit prescribed above shall be relaxed by 5 (five) years for candidates belonging to the categories of Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (S.E.B.C), Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (S.T.), Women & Ex-Servicemen and by 10 (ten) years for candidates belonging to PWD category, whose permanent disability is 40% and more.
· Persons with Disabilities belonging to SEBC/SC/ST categories are eligible for age relaxation benefit of 15 (Fifteen) years.
OPSC Forest Ranger Qualification
· A candidate must have possessed Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution in India with at least one of the following subjects namely, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry and Zoology or a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
OPSC Forest Ranger Physical Standard:
Candidates, who qualify in the written test, shall confirm to the following physical standard and test for being selected by the Commission, namely:-
(1) A male candidate shall not be less than 163 cm. in height and shall have chest measurement of at least 84 cm. expandable to at least 89 cm.
(2) (ii) A female candidate shall not be less than 150 cm. in height and shall have chest measurement of at least 79 cm. expandable to at least 84 cm.
(3) (iii) The candidates must pass the following physical endurance test of walking :-
(a) Male : 25 Kms. in 04(four) hours
(b) Female : 16 Kms. in 04(four) hours
