· The examination fee is non-refundable.

· Minimum age limit: 19 Years
· Maximum age limit: 48 Years
Education qualification
· Possess an M.B.B.S. degree or any other qualification specified in the first or second schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956):
· A candidate appointed to the said post shall be required to get himself registered under the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965 (Mah. XLVI of 1965) before joining the post, unless he has already been so registered or his name is borne on the Indian Medical Register maintained under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

· Level S-20 Rs.56,100/- to Rs.1,77,500/- plus admissible allowances as per rules.
Maharashtra Medical officer 2023 Selection Process
· The educational qualification, experience etc. qualification mentioned in the advertisement is minimum and the candidate will not be eligible to be called for the interview as he/ she possesses the minimum qualification.
· The number of candidates eligible for interviews will be limited through a screening test.
· In the case of the Screening Exam, marks in Screening Exam and Interview marks will be taken into consideration together and if Screening Exam is not held, the candidate will be recommended on the basis of Interview marks only.
· Only candidates securing a minimum of 41% marks and above in interviews will be considered for recommendation.
