JSSC Excise Constable Selection Procedure
The selection process for JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2023
According to the selection process of JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2022, candidates will have to clear three stages.
Physical Test – Candidates who qualify in the written examination, will be called for the next round, which is the physical test. In this round, both males and females will be tested on the basis of a run, whose details are as follows.

Apart from the running test, the authorities will also decide whether the candidates are eligible for the post in terms of physical requirements, i.e., height and chest dimensions.
· Written Exam – The written test consists of three papers that will test language and general knowledge skills. Paper 1 and Paper 3 will consist of 120 questions each, and Paper 2 will have 100 questions. Candidates will be given 2 hours to solve each question paper.
· Medical Examination – Candidates who qualify for the physical test will be asked to appear for a medical examination. Selected candidates would be tested for Night blindness, Hearing impairment, stammering, Varicocele, Hydrocele, Piles, communicable disease, mental disease, etc.
JSSC Excise Constable Apply Online
Step 1: The JSSC Constable Recruitment 2023 online application portal of registering will be open on 1st June 2023.
Step 2: The online registration process is divided into two parts, i.e., Basic Registration (for generating application number) and Detailed Information (details like qualification, Aadhar card no, etc.)
Step 3: Completing the Basic registration process does not mean the candidate has successfully submitted the application form.
Step 4: After Basic registration, a new page will appear and will generate an application number, which will also be sent to the candidate’s phone number and email id.
Step 5: For future logins, the system-generated application number will be the Login id and Date of birth ‘password’.
Step 5: For detailed information application, the candidate will be asked some personal details, followed by payment and then uploading of photograph and signature to complete the registration.
Step 6: Once the details are filled and submitted, no changes can be made.
Step 7: After completion of the application and registration process, a registration slip and application form will generate, that must be printed out for future references.

Aspiring candidates can follow the steps provided below to apply online for the JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment exam.
Step 1 – Go to the JSSC website.
Step 2 – Go through the “Important Links” section on the left side of the homepage and click on “Application Forms (Apply).”
Step 3 – Candidates can then select the post for which they want to apply, in this case, Excise Constable.
Step 4 – Fill the application form with your details, qualification, etc. and upload the scanned copies of documents wherever necessary.
Step 5 – Preview and verify the information submitted and then click on submit.
Step 6 – You’ll then be directed to the payment gateway, where you will have to pay the examination fees. You can do this by using your debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Step 7 – Candidates can then download and save the application form in the pdf format and take a printout for future use.
