JEE Mains Syllabus 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release JEE Main 2022 syllabus on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Direct link for JEE Mains syllabus 2022 pdf download will be provided here once the syllabus is released. JEE Main 2022 Syllabus will have details of topics that will be asked in the exam. JEE Mains syllabus 2022 will be available for all three papers, Paper 1 for B.Tech, Paper 2A for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Plan.

JEE Mains Syllabus 2022

The JEE 2022 syllabus is divided into two papers, Paper 1 for B.E/B.Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch and B.Plan. JEE Main 2022 syllabus for Paper 1 contains Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. JEE Main syllabus for paper 2 is further divided into two parts, Paper 2A for B.Arch which have Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing, and Paper 2B for B.Plan having Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning. JEE Main Syllabus 2022 – Subject and Topic Wise Details

Candidates can check below the details of subject-wise topics which constitute JEE Mains 2022 syllabus. Topics that will be asked in the exam for all the three papers, Paper 1, Paper 2A and Paper 2B are given with details in JEE syllabus 2022.

JEE Mains Syllabus 2022 for Physics

The syllabus of JEE Mains 2022 for Physics is divided into two sections, Section A, constituting theory part and having weightage of 80% in the exam, and Section B containing practical component or experimental skills having 20% weightage in the exam. The topics of JEE Main syllabus 2022 for Physics are from class 11 and 12 syllabi.

Oscillations and waves Speed of sound in air at room temperature using a resonance tube
Electronic devices Specific heat capacity of a given (i) solid and (ii) liquid by method of mixtures.
Kinetic theory of gases The resistivity of the material of a given wire using a metre bridge.
Current electricity The resistance of a given wire using Ohm’s law.
Communication systems Potentiometer – (i) Comparison of emf of two primary cells. (ii) Determination of internal resistance of a cell.
Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents Resistance and figure of merit of a galvanometer by half deflection method.
Magnetic effects of current and magnetism The focal length of; (i) Convex mirror (ii) Concave mirror, and (ii) Convex lens, using the parallax method
Optics The plot of the angle of deviation vs angle of incidence for a triangular prism.
Electromagnetic waves Refractive index of a glass slab using a travelling microscope.
Atoms and nuclei Characteristic curves of a p-n junction diode in forward and reverse bias
Electrostatics Characteristic curves of a Zener diode and finding reverse break down voltage
Dual nature of matter and radiation Characteristic curves of a transistor and finding current gain and voltag. gain
Identification of Diode. LED, Transistor. IC. Resistor. A capacitor from a mixed collection of such items.
Using a multimeter to: (i) Identify the base of a transistor (ii) Distinguish between NPN and PNP type transistor (iii) See the unidirectional of current in case of a diode and an LED. (iv) Check the correctness or otherwise of a given electronic component (diode, transistor or IC).

Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces etc). landscape (riverfronts. Jungle. Gardens, trees. Plants etc.) and rural life.

*Note:- Drawing test is conducted in a drawing sheet, which is provided at the exam centre. All other items required for drawing like pencils, geometry box set, crests, colour pencils and crayons for the drawing test have to be brought by the candidate.

JEE  Syllabus 2022 for B.Plan

The JEE Main paper 2 syllabi for B.Plan has three subjects, Mathematics, Aptitude and Planning.
