Vacancy Details: GDS 2023 Notification 2023: Government of India Ministry of Communication Department of Posts Invited online application from eligible applicants for recruitment to the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster(ABPM)/ in Branch Post Offices (BOs) created in the year 2023 .
Those applicants who are interested to be submitted the GDS Vacancy 2023 online form from 22.05.2023 to 11.06.2023.
The selection process for India Post GDS Vacancy is based on a system-generated merit list. The merit list will be prepared by aggregating the marks obtained in the 10th standard examination. Candidates who are shortlisted based on the merit list will be eligible for engagement in the respective divisions. · Registration of online candidates and submission applications by 16.06.2023 to 23.06.2023
· Edit Correction Window for Applicants: 24.06.2023 to 26.06.2023
India Post GDS Recruitment 2023 Application fee:
· A fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) is to be paid by the applicants for all posts notified in choice of Division. However,
· payment of fees is exempted for all female applicants, SC/ ST applicants, PwD applicants, and Transwomen applicants.

Indian Posts GDS 2023 Eligibility Criteria (FOR ALL POSTS):
(a) Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10ti standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or
elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of lndia/State Governments/ Union Territories in lndia shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS
(b) The applicant should have studied the local language i’e (Name of Local languaqe) at least up to Secondary standard [as compulsory or elective subject
(2). OTHER OUALIFICATIONS:-
(i) Knowledge of computer
(ii) Knowledge of cycling
(iii) Adequate means of livelihood

India Post office GDS 2023 Selection Process
· The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system-generated merit list.
· The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/ Points to marks in the Secondary School Examination of 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory.
