Deendayal Port Apprentice Selection Process
· The merit will be prepared on the basis of ‘Sum of marks obtained in all semesters / years’ and ‘Sum of total (maximum) marks in all semesters / years’ [as declared by the candidate in submitted application on Deendayal Port Authority website – www.deendayalport.gov.in].
Deendayal Port Trust Recruitment 2023 Application Procedure:
(A) For Trade apprenticeship (Sr. no. 1 – 08):
Step 1: Interested & eligible candidates are first required to register through https://apprenticeshipindia. gov.in > ‘Register’ > ‘Candidate’ and get ‘Apprenticeship Registration no.’ (of 10 digits, starting with ‘A’) and ‘Activate’ their Login account. The application will not be entertained without complete updating of respective profile which requires following details to be submitted mandatorily (online) after Login:
a. Contact details
b. Education details (with attachment of scanned copy of Certificate)
c. Trade preference
d. Aadhaar Verification
The application will not be entertained without above mentioned Enrollment. The Candidate Instruction Manual may be found at https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in > Get Started > Candidate User Manual.
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’ – link available in ‘Recruitment’ section of DPA website – https://www.deendayalport.gov.in/en/current-openings/ and ‘Sign Up’ after filling the necessary details (for first time user).
Then, please ‘Sign In’ through available Login page. After filling all the data blanks (which are to be filled in mandatorily), an acknowledgment for successful submission of application will be received.
B) For Diploma & Degree Engineering apprenticeship (Sr. no. 09 – 16):
Step 1: Interested & eligible candidates of Diploma & Degree Engineering disciplines are first required to register on http://mhrdnats.gov.in > ‘Enroll’ & get ‘Enrollment number’ (of 16 digits) by submitting necessary details (online).

Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’ – link available in ‘Recruitment’ section of DPA website – https://www.deendayalport.gov.in/en/current-openings/ and ‘Sign Up’ after filling the necessary details (for first time user).
Then, please ‘Sign In’ through available Login page. After filling all the data blanks (which are to be filled in mandatorily), an acknowledgment for successful submission of application will be received.
(B) For Non-Engineering apprenticeship (Sr. no. 17):
Step 1: Click on ‘Apply Now’ – link available in ‘Recruitment’ section of DPT website – https://www.deendayalport.gov.in/en/current-openings/ and ‘Sign Up’ after filling the necessary details (for first time user).
Then, please ‘Sign In’ through available Login page. After filling all the data blanks (which are to be filled in mandatorily), an acknowledgment for successful submission of application will be received.
