Assam TET 2023
The application process for Assam TET Recruitment 2023 will commence on 5th March 2023, and the last date to apply is 25th March 2023. Candidates who have successfully applied for the examination can download their Assam TET Admit Card 2023 from the official website on 15th April 2023. Assam TET 2023 Eligibility
Assam TET Eligibility for Lower Primary Level Test
To be eligible for a teaching position for classes I to V, there are various educational qualifications that one can hold. These include:
· Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
· Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E1.Ed)
· Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education
· Graduation and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
· Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from any NCTE-recognized institute.
Having any of these qualifications will be considered for appointment as a teacher for classes I to V. It is important to note that a minimum of 50% marks is required in senior secondary or graduation, depending on the qualification. Additionally, the institute providing the B.Ed. degree must be recognized by NCTE. These requirements ensure that qualified and competent teachers are appointed to teach young children.
Assam TET Eligibility for Upper Primary Level Test
There are several educational qualifications that one can hold to become eligible for a teaching position. These include:
· Graduation and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
· At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post Graduation and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
· Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
· Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year BA/B.Ed. or B.Sc./B.Ed.
· Graduation with at least 50% marks and a 1-year B.Ed
It is important to note that a minimum of 50% marks is required in senior secondary or graduation, depending on the qualification. Having any of these qualifications will make you eligible for a teaching position. The 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education is a good option for those who have completed their graduation. On the other hand, those who have completed their graduation or post-graduation can opt for B.Ed. courses to become eligible for a teaching position. The 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education or BA/B.Ed. or B.Sc./B.Ed. courses are also a good option for those who have completed their senior secondary with at least 50% marks. Assam TET Exam Pattern
2 hrs 30 minutes for Paper 1 and 2 hrs 30 minutes for Paper 2. Additional 20 minutes’ time (per hour) will be there for visually impaired candidates. There will be no negative marking as per the Assam TET Notification 2023.
