Vacancy Details: Assam SLET 2022: State Eligibility Test (SET), 2023, conducted by the State Level Eligibility Test Commission, Assam (N.E. Region) will be held on 19th March, 2023 (Sunday) in all the University Centres of N.E States. The candidates will have to submit application through on-line system.
. The website will be operating from 15-11-2022 to 07-01-2023 for filling up of forms, and there is provision for deposit of Examination fees up to 13th January 2023 at Bank.
Its member States at present are Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim and Tripura.

It was subsequently constituted as SLET Commission Assam (N.E. Region). The name of the Test has again been modified as SET (STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST). · Date of issuance of Website Notification: 07.11.2022 at 10:00
· Date of opening of online application portal at :15.11.2022 at 17:00
· Last date of submission of online application:07.01.2023 at 18:00 hours

· For General Category: Rs.1200
· OBC (Non-CREAMY layer):1050
· General (EWS): Rs.1050
· SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 1000
· PH Candidates: Rs.800
· The candidates may pay examination fee by using payment Gateway (s) integrated to the online application through Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card /UPI//Wallet.
Age Limit as on 10.11.2022
· There is no age limit to apply for The Assam SLET 2023. Also, There is no upper age limit for eligibility for applying For Assistant Processor
· Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the final qualifying Master degree (final year) examination and result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examination have been delayed may also apply for this Test.

Education qualification Details:
· General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates who have secured atleast 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this test. However, the scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Person with Disability (PWD) Category, the Other Backward Classes
(OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer who have secured atleast 50% marks (without
rounding off) in Master degree or equivalent examination are eligible to appear
in the Test.

Scheme of examination:
(i) The Test will consist of
two papers. All the two papers will have only objective type questions of the
following forms:
(a) Multiple Choice
(b) Matching
(c) Assertion and Reasoning (
d) True and False

Paper – I shall be of general subject, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper – II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject. Each question will carry 2 marks. There will be no negative marking.
