Age Limit Survey Of India Recruitment 2023 :
· 18 to 27 years for General category applicants and 18 to 32 years of age in case of SC/ST candidates and 18 to 30 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC) as on 31-05-2023 The upper age limit is also relaxable for retrenched Central Govt. employees/Departmental candidates/Ex-servicemen and other eligible categories as per rules.
Survey of India Driver Mechanic Eligibility Criteria
(i) 10th pass.
(ii) Knowledge of Hindi/English.
(iii) Should possess a valid driving licence for both heavy and light vehicles. The licence should also be valid for hilly areas and it must not have any adverse entries.
(iv) Should have a good knowledge of the general procedures of daily, weekly and other types of maintenances of the vehicles. He should be capable of locating defects and repairing the defects of the various components of Petrol/diesel engines, lighting systems, suspension and steering systems, mechanical transmission systems and hydraulic brake systems of Motor transport vehicle and should have knowledge of various lubricants and their specific uses. (v) Should have adequate knowledge of the works of fitter and should be well conversant with the duties of a Motor Mechanic.
Other desirable Qualification:-
(i) Should have 1(one) year experience of working as Motor Mechanic in any repair workshop/Garage.
(ii) Should possess a Certificate/Diploma in automobile trade from any recognised institution.

· Scale of pay: Pay in Pay Matrix-Level 2-19900-63200 and other allowances as admissible.
Survey Of India Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
(i) The candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the above post will be called to undergo the test and Practical/Skill Test for assessment of actual knowledge of Motor Driving and its maintenance/repair.
(ii) The candidate must note that mere fulfillment of essential qualifications do not make them eligible to be called for test and interview. In the event of a large number of applications being received in response to this advertisement or through concerned employment exchange, the concerned Appointing Authority reserves the right to limit the number of candidates to be called for the test by applying appropriate criteria
(iii) The duration of selection process (Test and Practical/Skill Test) may extend to about 2 days and candidates are required to make their own arrangements for stay. The date of selection test will be intimated directly to the candidates.
(iv) There will be no interview as per Govt. of India, DoP&T’s OM No.39020/01/2013-Estt. (B) Part dated 29-12-15.
Survey Of India Recruitment 2023 Method of Application:-
Candidates fulfilling the above conditions may apply to anyone of the above Offices/GEO- SPATIAL DATA CENTRES on prescribed application form. The under mentioned documents should positively be enclosed with the application form.
(i) One self addressed 10X22 cm size envelope duly affixed worth Rs. 22/- Postal
Stamp on it. (ii) Attested photo copies of Educational qualification, valid Driving License, Caste certificate, Date of Birth certificate in support.
(iii) Attested photo copies of experience certificate of Motor Driving. Vehicle repairing work and certificate/diploma of Automobile trade if any.
(iv) Two pass port size photograph of the candidate duly attested by a Gazetted officer one should be affixed on the application form.
Last Date: Application form duly filled in the prescribed format should reach the above office /Geo-Spatial Date Centre on or before 31.05.2023 positively.
