Assam Junior Manager, APSC Assistant Manager Age Limit:
For the posts of Junior Manager
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2023. The upper age limit is relaxable:
· By 5 (Five) years for SC/STP/STH candidates i.e. upto 43 years.
· By 3(Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April, 2018.
· Persons with benchmark disability (PwRD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January, 2019.
· the maximum age in respect of Ex-Servicemen shall be 50 (fifty) years for Un-reserved category and shall be relaxed by 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates and 5(five) years for SC/ST candidates.
· For departmental candidates, upto 45 years of age
APSC Assistant Manager
For the post of Assistant Manager: The candidates should not be less than 21 (Twenty-One) years of age and not more than 38 (Thirty-Eight) years of age as on 01/01/2023.
· By 5 (Five) years for SC/STP/STH candidates i.e. upto 43 years.
· By 3(Three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years as per Govt. notification No. ABP.6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April, 2018.
· For persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt. Memorandum No. ABP 180/2017/105 dated Dispur the 7th January, 2019.

APSC Assam Qualification:
Junior Manager APGCL
For the post of Junior Manager, Full time Diploma course in Engineering from any Govt./ Govt. recognized/ All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved Polytechnic/Institution and the course duration should be of minimum 3 (Three) years after HSLC or equivalent or (2 (Two) Years (Base) + 2 (Two) Years (Diploma)} course from Govt./ Govt. recognized/ AICTE approved Institution. Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination of Diploma course in Engineering for the said post is required In case of
SC & ST candidates, minimum 50% marks is must in the qualifying examination of full time diploma course. a) For Junior Manager (Electrical): Full time Diploma in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
· For Junior Manager (Mechanical): Full time 3(three) years diploma in Mechanical Engineering
· For Junior Manager (IT): Full time 3(three) years diploma in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Technology.
· For Junior Manager (Instrumentation):- Full time 3(three) years diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.
Junior Manager
a) For Junior Manager (Electrical): Full time Diploma in (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering).
b) For Junior Manager (Mechanical): Full time diploma in Mechanical Engineering
c) For Junior Manager (Civil): Full time diploma in Civil Engineering. d) For Junior Manager (IT): Full time diploma in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology.
e) Minimum 60% mark in qualifying examination of Diploma courses for the above mentioned posts is required.
f) In case of SC/ST candidates, Minimum 50% mark in qualifying examination of Diploma courses for the above mentioned posts is required.
g) Whenever CGPA/OGPA/GPA or Letter Grade in the qualifying examination of Diploma course is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated by the candidates in the online application form as per norms adopted by the University/Institute. The candidate will have to submit a copy of these norms with respect to his/her University/Institute at the time filling up of online application form and will have to submit a printed copy of the same at the time of document verification/viva-voce. Where no norms have been specified, the CGPA/OGPA/GPA will be multiplied by a factor 10 and the sum will be subtracted by 5.
APSC Assistant Manager
i) For the post of Assistant Manager (Electrical): Full time B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
ii) For the post of Assistant Manager (Mechanical): Full time B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. For the post of Assistant Manager (Civil): Full time B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
iv) A minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination of B.E/ B.Tech for the said post is required. However, in respect of SC/ST candidates, minimum 50% marks is must in the qualifying examination of Bachelor Degree.
v) Whenever CGPA/OGPA/GPA or Letter Grade in the qualifying examination of courses is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated by the candidates in the online application form as per norms adopted by the University/Institute. The candidate will have to submit a copy of these norms with respect to his/her University/Institute at the time filling up of online application form. APSC Assistant Manager Eligibility
i. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
ii. The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/Voter ID/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application.
iii. Candidates having adequate knowledge in communicating in Assamese and/or local language will be preferred. (Knowledge of local language to be tested at the time of interview)
