CAU Imphal Teaching Recruitment 2023
The application form can be downloaded from the websites www.cau.ac.in. The duly completed application form along with prescribed fee of Rs.1, 000/- (in case of UR/OBC) and NIL fee for SC/ST/PWBD/Women candidate, should reach the office of the Registrar, Central Agricultural University, Imphal on or before 31" May, 2023 through On-line, and hard copies of downloaded filled- in application form along with relevant documents must also be sent separately. Payment of fee shall be made through State Bank Collect SBI only (payment guideline may be downloaded from the website cau.ac.in).

CAU Imphal Faculty Jobs 2023 Education qualification
Chairperson/ Professor
Essential:
i) Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent
grade point. ii) Good Academic record with Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline
iii) A minimum of ten years of experience in teaching/research/extension, of which at least three years should be as Associate Professor or equivalent in Pay Band-4 (Level-13A)
iv) Experience of guiding students at Master’s and Doctoral levels. v) Published work in the form of at least 10 scientific papers in journals of repute with five and above NAAS rating.
vi) Evidence of providing scientific leadership including handling of externally funded Research projects.
Desirable:
1. Contribution to educational innovations, design of new curricula and courses and development of technology-mediated teaching-learning resources.
Associate Professor
Essential:
i) Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
ii) Good Academic record with a Ph.D degree in relevant discipline iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching/research/extension education as Assistant Professor or
equivalent position. iv) Contribution in research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations and outcome.
v) Published work in the form of at least 5 scientific papers in journals of repute with four NAAS rating.
Desirable:
1. Contribution to educational innovations, design of new curricula and course and development of technology mediated teaching-learning resources.
Assistant Professor
Essential
i) Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point. Evidence of having cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR, ASRB, UGC, CSIR. (NET shall not be required in disciplines for which NET is not conducted)
Or
Ph. D in relevant subject with published Research papers in scientific journals.
Desirable:
1. Experience of teaching Under Graduate/Post Graduate students.
